The 1950’s was a time when dark rich and robust colors were abundant in homes. Dark yellows or golden tones, saturated browns greens, oranges and other neutral tones, such as deep browns. So many of these colors were used in combination for a colorful display on patterned furniture, rugs, draperies and wall colors.
